The APOLLO VALVES 3810301 is a 1/2 in atmospheric vacuum breaker for water systems. It is designed to help prevent back-siphonage of polluted water into a potable water supply. This Series 38 valve has a bronze body with a rough brass finish, female NPT connections on both sides, and an atmospheric vent. It is intended for applications involving low health hazard conditions and is not designed for continuous pressure use beyond 12 hours in any 24-hour period.
