The DIXON - 4PF4 is a hose coupling featuring a push-to-connect locking mechanism for rapid joining and separation of hoses or equipment used with water or air lines. Constructed of zinc-plated steel with nitrile seals, this coupling provides a seal when used with compatible hoses and fittings, as specified. It is intended for use in pneumatic, hydraulic, and general fluid transfer applications within the specified pressure and temperature limits. It has a nominal body and coupling size of 1/2 inch and a female hose fitting with a 1/2 inch hose inner diameter acceptance. The fitting has a maximum working pressure of 300 psi at 70°F and operates within a temperature range of -40°F to 250°F.
