The DIXON - D4F4 hose coupling for quick connection and disconnection without a tool (when installed with compatible hose ends and fittings). It features a sleeve locking mechanism and is intended for use on the end of hoses or pipes. The coupling accommodates industrial-type fittings having the specified connection size and thread type (1/2"-14 NPT, female connection size 1/2 inch) and provides a sealed connection when used with compatible fittings and within the specified operating temperature and pressure ranges. Constructed from steel with a zinc-plated finish and nitrile seals, it is rated for operation within -40°F to 250°F and has a maximum rated working pressure of 500 psi.
