It features a hexagonal outer profile for wrench tightening and is made from 316 stainless steel alloy. It is rated for Class 150 pressure and suitable for use with air, natural gas, oil, potable water, and steam systems; complies with applicable low-lead requirements for potable-water contact. It is manufactured to meet ASME/ANSI Class 150 pressure–temperature ratings and conforms to ISO 7-1 threading standards.
