The PARKER - H8C-D is a pneumatic hose coupling for connection of compressed air lines. It uses a push/pull locking mechanism for connection and disconnection without tools. It serves as the male plug component in an industrial interchange system and provides a sealed connection when properly installed for compressed air lines. This coupling is rated to connect to hoses with a 5/16 in inner diameter (hose I.D.) and provides a nominal connection size of 1/4 in. Constructed of steel with a trivalent chrome finish, the fitting is intended for pneumatic service within the specified temperature range. It has an operating temperature range of -40°F to 250°F.
