The STARRETT 18C is an automatic center punch with a steel body and knurled steel handle. Its internal mechanism delivers a punch when downward pressure is applied, and the adjustable cap changes the blow force within a 1.5 to 5.5 lb range. This 5-1/4 in long punch has an 11/16 in diameter round shank and a 0.015 in point. It is used on metal, plastic, and wood.
