Description
An interior/exterior, direct to metal (DTM), water-based corrosion- primer and topcoat designed for industrial maintenance and construction purposes. Use on machinery, farm implements, fixtures, conveyors, safety equipment, aluminum, metal, steel, and doors. Provides maximum color and gloss retention. May also be used alone as a flat finish topcoat. Prepare surfaces by removing any loose paint, dust, rust, or dirt to ensure adhesion. Solvent clean iron and steel surfaces and prime bare steel within 8 hours before flash rusting occurs. Allow a minimum of 6 months to weather before priming. Topcoat with Do it Best waterborne industrial enamel or alkyd industrial enamel. Apply with synthetic brush, roller, or airless sprayer. Clean up with soap and water. Covers approximately 150 to 290 Sq. Ft. per gallon. Dries to touch 20 to 45 minutes or to recoat in 4 to 6 hours.
