Black Beauty Delmarva grass seed is a 100% tall fescue blend that is specially formulated for the hot and humid climates of the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States (Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia). Delmarva is a cool-season seed tall fescue blend that grows exceptionally well in hot environments. The roots that can grow up to 4-feet deep. Produces a waxy leaf coating (like the skin on an apple) that preserves moisture and limits evaporation making it ideal for the Mid-Atlantic region. It also withstands heavy traffic, and naturally resists insects and diseases. It grows a naturally dark green lawn with high-quality tall fescue that outperforms Kentucky-31 Tall Fescue.
