If you work with fiber optic cables, the JIC-375 Fiber Optic Cable Stripper is a tool you will want to have on hand. It is designed to strip jackets, buffer coating and cable to glass fiber. The blade strips the jacket, buffer coating and cable to glass fiber. This stripping tool can handle 1.6 - 3mm diameter fibers as well as 900 - 250 micron to 125 micron sizes of optical fibers. It has a rubber handle for added comfort and grip during use. With an overall length of 6 in., this stripping tool is easy to maneuver into tight spaces.
