Becausethey’re hollow there’s no dead zone as with twist drills.And unlike hole saws, that rip and tear through thematerial, they quickly give you a quality, virtually burr-freehole. Blaircutters are available in seven sizes for 1/4” andlarger drill chucks. Spring loaded pilot “pops” the slugfrom the cutter. 13216
