Made specifically for Milwaukee high-speed ratchets, the MW-2-HS was developed after we had a few users write in with an oscillation-related issue when using the MW-2 knob with high-speed ratchets. This oscillation caused the knob to actuate the directional change mechanism, unintentionally switching the ratchet from one direction to another. The addition of the o-rings provides two distinct advantages:. 1: The o-rings act as a damper between the knob and the head of the ratchet, eliminating the oscillation mentioned above, and providing seamless use with high-speed ratchets. 2: Working alongside two N52 neodymium magnets, the o-rings provide a friction fit in the head meaning the MW-2-HS is rock solid when you attach it to your ratchet.
