Description

Scotts Step 1 for Seeding Starter Lawn Food with Weed Preventer not only has the strength to prevent pesky weeds, but also helps grow a new lawn. This product will prevent listed lawn weeds including dandelion, large and smooth crabgrass, white clover, chickweed, ground ivy, henbit, and yellow nutsedge. Use Scotts Step 1 for Seeding Starter Lawn Food with Weed Preventer when planting grass seed. Apply to a dry lawn when temperatures are consistently between 60 F and 90 F, then lightly water to activate. This product is for use on newly seeded, overseeded, or newly planted Kentucky Bluegrass, Tall Fescue, Perennial Ryegrass, Centipedegrass, as well as Fine, Spreading, and Creeping Red Fescues. We recommend applying this product with a Scotts spreader. For Scotts broadcast/rotary spreaders, use a setting of 4-1/2. For Scotts drop spreaders, use a setting of 7. Do not use this product on flowers, shrubs, trees, fruit, or vegetable plants.
