Description
The PB base embeds in wet concrete after pour and is made to install flush with the concrete surface. This connector was designed to help resist upload forces. Holes are provided for installation with 16d commons. A 2" minimum side cover is required to obtain the full load. Post bases do not provide adequate resistance to prevent members from rotating about the base and therefore are not recommended for non top-supported installations (such as fences or carports). 12-gauge galvanized steel. Some sizes available with ZMAX coating.
