Description

Air-Tite recessed housing designed for use in shallow ceilings where insulation is present. The wide variety of trims available allows a number of different lighting effects to be created with 1 basic housing. Air-Tite construction prevents airflow between conditioned spaces and unconditioned attic/plenum areas. Durable aluminum construction. Compatible with a wide variety of 6 in. recessed light trims but is best with Halo 426, 420, 353, 310, 301, 172, 78, 71, 70 and 30 series models. Compatible with a wide variety of 6 in. LED retrofit trims but is best with Halo quality RL, RA, SLD, LT, SMD and ML series models (bulb free with some having a 45-year LED lifespan). Uses PAR30 75-watt bulbs, not included. Got-nail: pre-installed nail easily installs in regular lumber, engineered lumber and laminated beams. Pass-N-Thru bar hangers: fixture has pre-installed nails that easily installs in regular lumber, engineered lumber and laminated beams. New construction recessed can, ideal for those who have easy access to their ceilings. Insulation contact rated: designed for insulated ceilings where contact is necessary. Shallow recessed can for ceilings with 2 In. x 6 In. joist construction, fits perfectly in tight spaces. Features an integral thermal protector to guard against misuse of insulation materials and improper lamping.
